Our Commitments
For nearly 20 years, NORFRIGO’s entire quality system has been built on the foundation of the ISO 9001 standard. In fact, NORFRIGO was ISO 9001 certified from 2001 to 2007.
To demonstrate its commitment to stock management as a customs bonded warehouse, NORFRIGO initiated an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification process in 2016. AEO is a voluntary and collaborative approach with customs. This quality label for customs processes distinguishes the most reliable companies in terms of security, safety, and confidentiality. Issued by the French customs, it’s recognized throughout the European Union and in countries that have signed mutual recognition agreements. In 2019, NORFRIGO obtained the Full Authorized Economic Operator certification: Security, Safety, and Customs Simplification.
In order to provide all necessary assurances regarding food safety to its customers and highlight the transparency of its quality system, NORFRIGO sought certification recognized by all international distribution stakeholders:

This certification obtained in January 2015 highlight the ability of NORFRIGO’s teams to provide optimal storage conditions for safe and high-quality food products. NORFRIGO renewed these certificates for all of its sites in April 2022.
